She’s 4 months next week. She’s becoming a bit too big for her next to me and is starting to wanting to roll over so she’s almost face planting the sides of the next to me. Google says 4-6 months but I always just thought 6. Is it too early or should I go ahead and put her in a cot ? I wouldn’t want to put her into a cot to sleep if it was unsafe. (Ofcourse I know her starting to put grow the next to me can be too) 🫣

It's absolutely safe to put her in a cot as long as it doesn't have cot bumpers.

Both of my DNs had to go into theirs at 3 months as they were both so very long.

it depends if your cot is in your own room or in a separate sleep space x

Would be in my room with me. I plan to keep her in my room until she’s 1 x

SIDS advice is that they sleep in the same room as you do until 6 months. It's not the cot that's the issue. Many people can't fit a cot into their own bedroom which is why many don't transition until 6 months. Cots are safe from birth as long as they are made up correctly with the right bedding and baby placed with their feet to the bottom of the cot if using sheets/blankets.

Is it better to be in own room with cot then or with me ?

Exactly this

I didn’t plan on putting her into her own room yet sorry I should have made that clear !
does she still have to go feet down if she’s in a sleep sack ?

If it's only that I wouldn't bother. The problem is if you use other bedding as well and they get under the covers but can't get back out.
