Are you responsible for this child in any way?

Do you know how bad refined sugars are for you?

Are you seriously getting worked up over a child having too much sugar on pancake day?

Do you know how bad refined sugars are for you?

So what? If you don't look after this child what does that matter? You can't do anything about it. Tutting and Pearl clutching in these situations is a waste of time and energy. Besides the only refined sugar there is in the chocolate.

kimberly489 · 13/02/2024 17:13

How judgemental. A child under 1 is not likely to eat all of that and the picture was probably taken to just look nice for Facebook. Maybe get a life instead of worrying over other children eating pancakes? Envy

GN637 · 13/02/2024 17:13

Oh my god, that's awful! Your attitude that is. Unclench ffs. Life's too short.

milkysmum · 13/02/2024 17:13

Completely non of your business what someone's else's child is eating. It's pancake day for goodness sake, it won't effect his or her long term health if generally diet is pretty balanced.

PaperDoIIs · 13/02/2024 17:13

If he's under 1, there's no way he's eating even a quarter of that, which for a "special" day is not too bad. But that wouldn't have looked as good for SM.

fedupandstuck · 13/02/2024 17:14

@Whattherass what will happen to the child from consuming the pancake shown, today? What is the negative outcome? And, do you think that the child will eat every thing that is shown in the picture?

As an aside, that is such a terribly presented pancake I could hardly tell what it was.

Elisabeth3468 · 13/02/2024 17:15

Omg get over it. A bit of sugar on pancake day is fine! And if the baby is under one they will most likely be launching it across the dining room so don't lose sleep over it. And don't be so judgemental!

easterbuns1 · 13/02/2024 17:17

Imagine being so worked up about someone else's pancake you start a thread on a public forum about it 🤣

It's a wee bit of sugar (that probably won't even be completely eaten) once a year. They aren't giving the child crack.

DrCoconut · 13/02/2024 17:36

An under 1 will probably take a single bite then paint himself with the rest before tipping the remains off the highchair tray.

MermaidEyes · 13/02/2024 17:55

I'm just imagining how much fun a 1 year old is going to have with all that cream and chocolate 😆

hopeishere · 13/02/2024 18:03

Under one will not eat all of that.

Snowsp · 13/02/2024 18:06

How can you say it's too much sugar when you don't know the ingredients? Chocolate spreads all look the same regardless of it being Nutella or sugar free cocao nib spread for example.

Hellocatshome · 13/02/2024 18:12

1.Its pancake day

  1. Most of it will end up on the floor/their face
  2. Its nothing to do with you.
BrightGreenGoose · 13/02/2024 18:15

It's sugar not poison.
And besides that is most likely mum's and little one is sharing.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 13/02/2024 18:22

I'm judging your writing skills more than I'm judging this pancake.
