Remedies for teething rash??

My 5month old has been teething for about a month and the teething rash is just getting worse. I’ve been to GP but I’m constantly getting fobbed off as she has suffered from a mixture of rashes since birth. She is lactose intolerant and I’m wondering if the rashes she has on her face might be an allergy as it sometimes looks like baby hives.
the sore red rash is now spread to her neck but she is constantly dribbling (I wipe her face and she immediately spits out more saliva).
I’ve tried sudocrem, aveeno emollient, I wash her face and neck ever morning and night (not always with soap), I’ve been given steroid cream which hasn’t worked and anti fungal and anti bacterial cream which also hasn’t worked.
any help would be appreciated as I feel like I’m fighting a losing battle :(

Thankyou for the advice!
im currently battling with the gp to be referred to an allergy clinic however they keep refusing, ive also tried the milk allergy formula but baby won’t drink it so im stuck giving her lactose free milk :(

Its quite rare for a baby to be lactose intolerant. Have you seen a paediatrician or dietician? My GP didn't know the difference between lactose intolerance and cmpa so my daughter didn't get diagnosed with cmpa until 18 weeks. This is the only reason I raise seeing someone more specialised we saw a paediatrician for something else and he corrected a lot of incorrect things we had been told by our GP regarding allergies and reflux

The best cream we have found for things like this is hydromol. We got a 125ml tub from our HV and we have just replaced it 3 years later as it goes a long way. It is like a thicker vaseline and it is great when you need to protect the skin from liquids either drool with teething or snot with colds and anything else in between. We got our replacement on Amazon you would only need the smallest of tubs to try

Yes it was confirmed with a stool sample that she is lactose intolerant however the gp refuses to refer us to a paediatrician or allergy clinic because she refuses the cmpa milk so we can’t see if it will help her or not.
just been back to gp today with the rash in her back and he prescribed better creams and said it was eczema but it doesn’t look typical of that so I’m warey of putting stronger steroid creams on her as they havnt worked in the past.
the health visitor said it looks like a reaction but it’s been a real struggle at the gp to be taken seriously.

My understanding with formula and cmpa is that you make up bottles part one formula and part another until they happily accept the fully dairy free one.

I always found metanium amazing for clearing up dribble rash but it stains everything so be warned!

Ours had this. And had cmpa but we didn't realise til later. HV prescribed hydromol but tbh the most useful thing I can remember was that we bought loads of totsi dribble bibs, used them throughout the day and checked and changed them constantly. We found they absorb a lot very effectively and so keep it off the skin.

The hv has referred us to the dietitian around the time she is weaning so hopefully we get a breakdown of how to get her back on normal dairy products
will definitely have a look for that cream as well! Thankyou for the suggestion 😁
