How do you fit it all in?

Predominantly exercising with running a household, kids, full time job and a social life?

Any good tips? Currently struggling to get any exercise in and snowed by my to do list to the point where I stare at my phone mindlessly every evening instead of doing anything!

I don't work full time but do struggle to exercise in the evening. The only way I could go it is to exercise before breakfast which means getting up earlier or before tea which is difficult with young DC but not impossible, just requires more determination which I'm often lacking.

Now the nights are getting lighter a couple of out local running clubs are starting free beginner running sessions. Would something like that help helpful?

You don't. You keep the exercise as essential self-care and let something else slide.
No one can do it all. I'm sure you can find something in your daily routine you can simplify. Good luck.

I don't have much of a social life. I see my mother group once a quarter and that's pretty much it. I do have pretty good working relationships with my colleagues so I don't really feel like I'm missing out.

I had this since last 2 years from being an avid gym class goer ,nothing.

So since last couple of years I invested in set of dumbbells, a couple of kettlebells 8,10kg, have a powerplate machine at home, and now a pelaton .

I believe in hiit, so do a couple of 15min high intensity a week, and now recently 2 20min spin classes on the pelaton.

I finally feel better about myself as I had no time to go to the gym with a young toddler, lone parent working full time and being on top of everything else!

So I’ve been able to fit exercise in by lowering my expectations of what a workout is, and by accepting that something is better than nothing. Basically after dropping off my DS and before starting work I fit in a 10-15 min brisk walk around the block. It doesn’t sound a lot but it has a big impact. 10 Min Brisk Walking Benefits

For the socialising I’ve been doing a lot more hosting at home. Friends come round for dinner and drinks. I realise I’m fortunate to like hosting and enough space to be able to host friends at home though.

Going back to work in May after having our second child.

I think I'll be going back to the 5:30AM gym schedule. The only way it will work!
