Baby is 1. Never been a fan of milk probably a bit of bottle aversion but we got through it as he loves food so much.

we have tried every single cup on the market. He doesn’t even put them to his mouth he just pushes them away and cries. I have tried blowing in them, yoghurt on the straw etc. currently at home we use an open top cup and have to hold it for him and lift/pour the cup and he will have it but he has no inclination to try hold the cup himself

rhe problem is at nursery he hardly drinks water there even though I took them one of my doidy cups I use they keep trying to use the tommee tippee sippy cup so he isn’t drinking hardly anything

Keep offering and watching out for signs of dehydration and see how you go. My daughter didn't drink anything other than a bottle at nap time and a bottle before bed until 18 months. She had a severe bottle aversion that we had to overcome at 10 months prior to that she was breastfeed and didn't accept any drinks except breastfeeds before naps and at bed time

Sorry I'm not sure, but I do know that I'd definitely insist to nursery that they use your preferred cup that he will drink more out of.

Mine was the same. She's breastfed and just wouldn't drink from a bottle at all. I just kept offering it to her and one day she finally started to drink from it. Keep trying, he'll take it eventually x

Thank you.

we will keep trying, I think we will stick to the cup they use at nursery so it’s the same one. In the meantime just use an open top cup and help tip it although it soaks him every time. Even at bedtime he will only take his bottle of milk if he’s tired and sleepy, if he even wants it. I know he eats plenty of food so that’s why he doesn’t want the milk he is full but I just want to get liquid in him.

Make sure his food is nice and moist so he's getting liquid there. Mine wouldn't drink milk at all after I stopped BF (I think she just didn't like it), she would take baby orange juice.
