Which are the worst offenders?

This is probably an unpopular opinion but Ms Rachel is something I limit my children watching. It creates 'child zombies' as I call It

My DD has this with basically all TV. But I’ve heard cocomelon can be particularly bad.

Here's a list from raise wildflowers.com of the worst offenders - definitely some surprises on there!

If you look on her website there is also a list of the best and an explanation of the criteria she uses to assess them. Super helpful!

My son is 4 and the only thing from the above list he watches regularly is paw patrol - I'm not a massive fan but to be honest I notice no difference in his behaviour from him watching that to when he watches hey Duggee, bluey, fireman Sam, Winnie the pooh etc. Me or DH are always watching with him, chatting about what is happening and he loves "playing" the episodes out with us / his toys after.

I think it's less to do with what they watch and more about how they are watching - if they're left to watch telly for a longer time with little to no interaction that's when negative affects would likely start.
