Not entirely on-topic but... which are the best washable breast pads?

I figure you cloth nappy ladies will probably have used washable breast pads too so I'm posting here....

Last time around I got some that are fleece on the outside and apparently hemp inside; can't remember the name or where I got them. But they're so thick that I look like I have headlights in my bra, and they tend to leak quite easily. So I've been using up a stockpile of disposables breast pads donated by a friend. But I really need to get something washable in the long term. Which ones have worked for you?

I found the Avent ones quite good - and they are a bit lacey so if they show through at all at least they look pretty! They were not absorbent enough for me for the first few weeks until feeding had settled down - but were fine after that! NCT are selling some silicon stick on things called LillyPadz ( i think) that are washable and supposed to stop leaking - were not around when I had the dc but look interesting!

Oh, I remember seeing those lillypadz things once and thinking they were cool, but then I forgot all about it. Thanks, will look into it....

I always found the Avent ones the best.

Lilypadz are wonderful but don't stay sticky for every - I used to use them under "best" and when I went back to work and was wearing blouses and thin knit tops again. I found the Motherease ones really good from the point of view of comfort and absorbency but they were a bit lumpy and only really OK under loose clothes!
