Is my 13-week old baby normal?

First-time anxious parent here. I waited for 12 weeks for things to get easier after horrific witching hour from week 6. If I look back, it has got marginally easier, but our baby still cries a lot. We went on a short-haul flight to a European city for new year. On the way, she cried a little but not too much -- mainly because she was exhausted. It was bad planning on our part as we took an 8 am flight and disturbed her sleep. The return flight was during witching hour at 8.45 pm and absolute hell. She cried throughout the flight and my husband was in the corridor trying to console her. Then I put her in the carrier while seated and she fell asleep immediately, but an air steward came over and told me to take her out for landing and put her seat belt extension on. Silly leash-like thing that wouldn't protect her in turbulence let alone a crash. I had to wake her up and she scream-cried throughout the 40-minute descent. I heard someone say "That sounds like colic, my daughter had that" and could feel the hatred from a large part of the plane. Is this normal or does it sound like colic? If so, when will it get easier? I heard colic usually resolves in 3-4 months and she's just over 3 months old.

It could also be silent reflux, silent reflux reaches its peak in most children around 4 months. A lot of children outgrow it by 6 months and most by 12 months but it can be managed with medication.

Colic resolved at 4 months for us. It is so hard, but it just went away. If it’s silent reflux then baby will be uncomfortable. It’s so hard when they’re very unsettled, but if baby is thriving and meeting milestones then it will probably resolve as they get a bit bigger and digestion gets easier.

Just sounds like a regular overtired baby to me. Colic means screaming for hours at a time, every day. I would expect a small baby to cry a lot if overtired and on a plane when they would usually be in bed.
