Apps for tracking baby sleep

I have used Huckleberry and Sleep coach both on the free trial to track my 7mo’s sleep and found it really useful, particularly the recommended “sweet spot” times of when to put baby down for a nap. However I’m not in a position to pay £70 once the trial expires so can anyone recommend any apps that do the same for free?

I know this sounds so cheap and if I had the £ to spare I would just subscribe!

Thanks!

I just looked up the wake windows and put an alarm on my watch each time the baby woke up. You could use the phone too.

I used a super basic one to track my daughters sleep and feeds etc. I think it was called something like baby tracker. I found it most useful for tracking meds and I didn't do awake windows as my daughter had irregular awake windows. At 4 months it was something like 2h, 2h, 1h, 3h but if you wanted you could set alarm to go off after 1, 2, 3, 4h

Huckleberry is fine without the "sweet spot" premium thing- just use common sense when you think your baby is tired and see how much time has gone past since they woke. They send emails every month with suggested nap times anyway.

It might have changed since I had it a few years ago but the free huckleberry was pretty good and you could work out when would be a good nap time.

And you don’t sound cheap at all, £70 is outrageous!!

Thanks for the suggestions.

I do have an idea of rough wake windows but our day varies a lot so can’t always be at home (2nd child problems!) so often naps are not aligned with the routine, ie sometimes he’ll fall asleep in the car even when he is not due a nap. So I do find the reminders useful.

Today is suggested a nap at midday when I knew I’d be on a walk and he hasn’t slept in the carrier since he was a newborn and at 12pm to my surprise he drifted off!

so I do find the sweet spot reminders useful.

Update on this, if anyone is interested, I cancelled my free trial of the Sleep Coach app (before it went on to auto-subscribe me at £69.99 for 3 months), and funnily enough I still get the sweet spot notifications! Not sure how long they’ll last but still finding them a helpful reminder of when to put baby down.

Advice needed please
i have a 12 week old girl, she is my second child my 1st was 10 years ago so feel like a complete novice, she fights sleep during the day, I have to rock her to sleep while she is crying to stay awake and as soon as I put her down she wakes up within 10 minutes crying then I need to try and get her to sleep again ( it’s like she hates her Moses basket) the only place she will fall asleep is her moving pram or on someone (mostly me but dad aswell) however on a night she will sleep from 10ish for 6/7 hours straight, then another 2/3.
she fights a dummy it makes her gag and sometime makes her scream even more,
she screams when her dad tries to get her to sleep if she wants me, to the point she makes herself sick.
what do I do, should I let her scream it out because we have tried it and she would just keep on going, won’t stop, or should I just give her what she wants, it makes it really difficult for me to do anything during the day,
any advice please that would be great

I should have said that on a night she is in a sleeping bag in a next to me crib so different from during the day
