Do I need a bottle warmer or is it a waste of money ?

Is it quicker to just warm a bottle in a jug of hot water or are bottle warmers easier ?

I don’t want to waste money if there’s a solution using things I already have at home? Baby likes milk really quite warm (I have to make the powder up with cooled water as it’s an allergy formula) but he will only drink it really warm so it needs heating somehow

Waste of money like most baby products

Just zap in microwave or heat in warmed water in a jug

I had a prep machine so baby just got used to that temp and was fine with that but if they wanted it warmer, I would've used the microwave.

Thank you ! I’ll just stick to using the jug of hot water as it’s not too bad I just wondered would it be easier but didn’t want to spend ££ if not !

We are using neocate ill check if I can use a prep for that I have to boil then cool the water more than for normal formula then make up the formula but he hates it but will drink it if it’s rewarmed. If I make it up when the waters still hot it makes it taste even more bitter

Definitely jug of boiling water. I tried two different bottle warmers and both of them barely brought the bottles to room temperature from fridge cold. (Was using colief drops at the time so pre-made bottles of formula and stored in the fridge)

How does the milk fare if you make it up with cold water and then add boiling? My LO was on prescription for a while and for a 6oz bottle I would put in 6 scoops to 4oz cooled boiled water, shake then add 2oz boiling water to top it off. It was quicker than trying to warm in a jug and didn’t burn the formula either. He would only drink the prescription milk really warm too.
