Traveling with a 17/18 weeks old

My family are planning a trip abroad when my DS will be around 17/18 weeks old. Need to confirm and book flights sooner rather than later and wondered if anyone had any thoughts about traveling with a baby this age?

Trip would be one week and in Europe, with flight time of around 2 hours. Week it's self will be quite low key, with family skiing during the day and us finding various things to do.

Would need to take out travel cot, pram and car seat plus all other various baby items

It should be fine.

will require a bit of organization to make sure you have what you need but perfectly doable.

for travel cot the little life arc 2 is light and small so good for travelling.
do you need a car seat? It won’t be necessary if you’re not going by car anywhere.

definitely take a carrier, will be useful in the airport and probably also around the ski resort.

for feeding take sterilizing tablets unless they have a sterilizer to rent at your location.

It's no problem travelling when they're that age with a little planning. Consider travel restrictions for equipment, and borrow a single piece pram or one that uses base and car seat as compromise if airline accepts that. If it's a flat carrycot-style pram, can they sleep in that, or will there be a travel cot where you're going that you can just take a sheet and gro-bags for?
We had a very simple wire framed flat pack bouncy chair that was useful for travel, and also an inflatable bumbo-type chair when they were a bit older.
If BF great, no need to think about milk, but if bottle feeding definitely take sufficient powder to save hunting around for suitable stuff. Same for nappies. Reduce your packing to accomodate theirs!!

This was the best time to travel for us, they are so portable!! See if the hotel can provide a cot as it’s much easier. Make the most of dinners and drinks out whilst you can!! It’s much more difficult when they start crawling and walking.
