Tummy rash

Hi all, took son to see a pharmacist yesterday he’s come up in this rash? Pharmacist said no reason for concern, he’s eating, drinking and his normal usual self. But it seems so strange, it flares up and then goes back down? Anyone had anything similar and can give me an ideas as to what it is? I’ve just bathed him and it’s more visible since his bath (pic taken before bath) does it look like heat rash to anyone? It does have a prickly feeling to it. To add he does seem to have sensitive skin (I haven’t changed washing powder or anything recently!) Thanks to anyone who comments…

The stomach looks a bit distended as well. I think you should go to the GP

Could be a viral infection my DD had this all over yesterday but she's has a slight temp and a chesty cough so a bug at moment sometimes they get these little rashes but defiantly worth checking with Dr if your concerned

Well this is the weirdest thing he hasn’t been unwell 🤷🏼‍♀️ however it just seems a little strange how it’s flared up more since his bath. Making me question if it’s heat? School says it flares up there too, his school is like an oven but I’m thinking with no other symptoms do I need to be concerned pharmacist said it looked viral.

His tummy has always looked this way he’d literally just ate his tea. Not concerned about his tummy being distended.

Maybe he's prone to prickle heat rash if it comes on when he gets too warm just keep an eye on him

My DD gets similar looking rash at her tummy area and it seems to be heat related. It doesn't look 'angry rash' so personally I wouldn't worry.

This was exactly what I thought! He’s got such funny skin, they keep you on your toes don’t they 😂

I thought the same, it came on whilst at school yesterday during his school assembly they’re always like an oven. Then he had his Xmas party so was running around, then he’s had PE today so I think you’re right it could be heat related. I agree it’s blanching and pharmacist wasn’t one bit concerned, always go into panic mode though don’t we? No other symptom’s accompanying it.

My daughter gets rashes like this following allergic reactions. It can take 4-6 weeks for it to go down. We rub aqueous cream on it every night and if it doesn't start to improve we increase to twice a day and if that doesn't help start antihistamines also used if she is struggling with itching and then consider steroid creams but never had to use the cream prescribed we have been within a day or so of using though. We get it checked out if it's not improving.
