Should my daughter still eat dairy if she’s (mildly) allergic?

My daughter (2) had / has some allergies since being a baby. She was allergic to egg (as in ige, hives, projectile vom etc) and dairy. Dairy didn’t show up on skin prick or blood test so doctor thinks just igg / intolerance. As a baby dairy would give her diarrhoea, ezcema and congestion. Now it just gives her congestion…although this is constant, her nose is always blocked.

At my last check up with the allergy doctor i asked if based on the chronic blocked nose she should still have dairy. She said yes as if it’s only a mild reaction better to still give it to her. Is this right as she really is constantly bunged up? She’s a very fussy eater and I do wonder if it’s because she can’t smell anything.

i don’t want to limit her diet unnecessarily but wasn’t sure if this sounded right / I worry she won’t try any new foods as she can’t smell or taste properly
