Raising boys

Call out to all parents out there who have raised well rounded, respectful boys whose future partners are going to thank you.
DP is present. Works very hard but actual 'partnership' stuff ie cleaning, cooking, washing, sorting, kids social life, jobs round the house etc and he's a total waste of space.
Raising a little boy who idolises his dad. But how do i (because like it or not it's me solo) raise him to do all the stuff that needs doing to live an actual life?
How do i raise my girls to expect and demand more from their future partners?
Grrrrr!! End of another day of rage cleaning after a 12 hour shift

Stop cleaning, stop ironing his shirts. Every time a job needs doing, ask for help. Make them realise your work is never done.

I'm a single mum. I ask my 15yo ds for help with basic things like putting on a clean duvet cover or sorting washing. He's started helping me carry the food shop in, he pegs his own clothes on the line. Puts his plates in the dish washer without me asking.

Expect more of them. Don't let them think there is a house elf cooking and cleaning.
