Hi we have a 17 week old baby girl who sleeps from 7.30pm until 8am every night our concern is is she sleeping to long ? she feeds well and gaining weight and dong everything else she should be doing at her age ( we know it's great she is sleeping all night but just concerned it's to long )

I wouldn’t have thought so OP. My daughter was a terrible sleeper so never did this, but I had friends with similar aged children that did. I would enjoy it, you might find her sleeping pattern totally changes the older she gets. Try not to worry ☺️

No, she will sleep as long as she needs.

As long as she is gaining weight and alert and happy between her naps in the day there is nothing to worry about.

Agree with the others. Hungry babies can often be every sleepy but if she's bright and alert at times during the day and is gaining weight, you don't need to be concerned Wink

I agree with the others, if she's bright and alert between naps, gaining weight well and I would also add having plenty of wet/dirty nappies then enjoy the sleep!

My son was similar at that age and is now a fit, healthy 10 year old. 🙂

Enjoy the sleep!

Hi OP! Definitely nothing to worry about. My 17 week old sleeps 8pm to 9am, he's been doing this since about 8 weeks, at first it did really scare me but health visitor has reassured me it's perfectly normal & healthy! And for me to enjoy the full nights sleep! 🤣 xx
