Possible cmpa?

Anyone's baby have cmpa and if so what was the symptoms please?

My 5 month old (formula fed) has always had reflux and from about 3 months old became really fussy with his feeds. Was only finishing half of his bottles, arching his back, crying during feeds and was really unsettled between feeds. He was put on omeprazole and changed formula.. he's now a lot more settled and finishes more bottles (not all but more than before) but still pushes it away and cries sometimes. He's now came out in a rash started on his tummy, spread to his arms, legs and now around his mouth. Doctor said it's eczema.. His poo's are also like water with some mucous occasionally. I raised my concern about it possibly being CMPA but he said if that was the case it would have started a lot sooner... have an appt in a weeks time to review but wondered what other babies symptoms were?

Two CMPA babies. 1)Initially low weight gain, extreme colic and very fussy breastfeeding; moved to formula and very constipated and clearly in pain. Instant dramatic improvement when hypoallergenic formula introduced. 2) Second baby had eczema, very watery nappies and very colicky too- cut out dairy much more quickly second time around! It's definitely worth trying hypoallergenic milk and you'll know very quickly if it makes a difference. Hope things improve!

We didn't get diagnosed until 4 and half months. Loose poos, reflux and screaming with the occasional rash were our symptoms. We didn't realise the poos were abnormal with covid and not seeing anyone else loose poos were all we had known so when we were asked were they normal we said yes. Normal for her that is.
I was breastfeeding so kept a food and symptom diary and that was when the doctors suggested going dairy and soya free.

If you are getting nowhere with the doctors, I would try one more time, you can try buying one tin of a dairy free formula. You start with an extensively hydrolysed something like pepti 1 and see if it makes a difference. If it does go to the doctors and say I have tried a dairy free formula it made things better will you prescribe it? It is expensive otherwise I think we paid £20 for a tin when we needed to try a formula due to a feeding aversion and our pharmacy wasn't to get it until Monday as it wasn't ordered until Friday afternoon
