Vbac for big baby induced early?

Is it worth it? Is it likely?
should we just go for a c section?
I had a C-section first time and was definitely my preference. This time I’m feeling mournful that this could be my last chance for a vaginal birth.

How big?

Firstly, scans in late pregnancy are notoriously inaccurate at predicting baby size.

Secondly, the research doesn't necessarily support induction due to a predicted big baby: www.sarawickham.com/articles-2/induction-for-big-baby/

I had an emergency cs first time, and was planning a vbac, but would have needed to have been induced as the baby needed to come out so went for a cs. No regrets, it was the right thing given the circumstances at the time

How big?

AC over 99 percentile at 32 weeks whilst rest of body all on 30-40 percentile. Over 5lb already.

I think if entire baby was big I’d agree but head smaller than proportion which does give me the shoulder discotia and general vaginal birth trauma fear.

A planned c section is definitely better than a emergency one. I gave birth naturally to 2 nine pounders with no intervention but there's no way to know how it will go. What has your midwife said?
