I've never used the kitchen in a hall, too much hassle while there's loads of other things to do!!

Salad sticks, sandwiches - then packets of stuff so you can take them home still sealed (biscuits Pom bears, raisins etc)

Fruit shoots and you're sorted

Do individual boxes with something like a cheese sandwich, packet of pom bears, satsuma, carton of juice and mini bag of party rings. If it’s a 4th birthday I’m guessing many of invitees will be from nursery so still only 3, and that’s quite little to help themselves from a buffet without needing help or sticking fingers in everything, plus it’s easier to do it all in advance. So maybe the no kitchen is a blessing in disguise?!

Agreeing with the above, individual sandwich boxes made up the night before, crisps, raisons or satsuma or apple, mini chocolate or biscuits, mini haribo, juice box etc.

Don't over think it. Sandwich platters 1 X ham, 1 X cheese and 1 x jam, veggie sticks and Crisps plus chocolate fingers/mini rolls for something sweet. If you have any allergies do a different sandwich for them but otherwise all good.

The things that have gone down best at parties I've been too have been

Cold pizza
Breadsticks
Crisps
Cupcakes

...all the healthy stuff.
