Tips for clearning up nappy rash

My DS 20 weeks has persistent nappy rash. I have tried sudo cream and the cream by welda and I make sure I change his nappy regularly. I also let him have nappy free time each day. I can't seem to get rid of it though - what else can I try?

I used metanium and that works a treat my dd (15 now) had such bad nappy rash she used to bleed but if you use this make sure you use water and cotton wool to remove or use baby oil to remove it from the bottom at next nappy change hth. Btw it stinks but its good atround £3 a tube i think

hi, was going to suggest metanium but see soremummy already has.
it really is brilliant stuff, little more expensive initially to buy compared to some creams, but you don't need to use a lot of it to get results.
hope you get it cleared up soon

Another vote for metanium here

egg white - works a treat. Apparently professionals don't really recommend it (something to do with flashbacks to Edwina Curry!) but I swear by it!

It is obviously not as easily transported, but for using at home, it is great.

I lather it on, try and waft a bit to let it start to dry then either bare-bum-time or nappy on.

Probably worth ruling uot thrush though, if it is very persistent...hopefully someone with proper knowledge could come along and advies on that?!
