So she use to have a bottle at 2am 6am 10am 2pm 6pm and her last bottle at 10pm so 6 bottles in total when she was around 2 months old then it dropped to 5 bottles at around 3 months she dropped her 2am feed, then she dropped her 6am feed at 4 months not wanting a bottle until around 8am then she didn’t want a bottle till around 9am now she has a bottle at 9am 1pm 5pm (sometimes not hungry till around 6 or 7pm tho) and her last bottle at 11pm now for the last few nights no interest in her 11pm feed so drinking 21oz in total feeling very stressed

21oz is normal for a baby on solids.

TheShellBeach · 10/11/2023 23:02

That sounds absolutely normal, OP.

Do you think she should have more milk than this?

Is she eating now?

Lollibert · 11/11/2023 12:44

@TheShellBeach @jesshomeEd We are currently doing baby led weaning so she doesn’t actually eat very much of what I offer her even on days I don’t give solids she still only wants 3 bottles she does wake up at some point during the night which I forgot to mention but only has a few mouthfuls of milk before not wanting anymore and goes back to sleep but sometimes she’ll drink a few oz at night

Could you try adding formula to cereal to get another oz to 2 into them if they aren't interested.

Would the entertain an Oz or so in a cup alongside food?

As long as weight doesn't plummet, and there's a normal amounts of wet and dirty nappies don't stress it too much. If they drop below 500ml a day you might want to add a multivitamin

Lollibert · 11/11/2023 15:02

@Superscientist which multivitamin would u recommend? And she won’t allow me to feed her she only wants to feed herself I try preloaded spoons but goes on her face instead so she eats finger foods but doesn’t really swallow much most of it ends up on the floor

They only need vitamins A,C and D.
The NHS do healthy start drops which are 5 drops we got a trial pack from the hospital and they were good but I struggled to find them in real life. We used these multivitamin and they are 0.5ml. there are other but check the doses carefully it's a faff to give anything more than 1ml (if you don't have to) we slipped up once and got one that was a bright yellow liquid and 5ml a day and she hated it!
