Travel buggy for 2 year old

We're about to go on holiday which will be our first since having DD. DD will have just turned 2 when we go. I'm looking at buying a stroller for while we are away. Worried it's not worth it given her age but at the same time we'll need something.

At home she's started to want to walk rather than be in the buggy, but this will only be for a few minutes at the most and will generally either want to be carried or get back in the buggy. I don't drive so the buggy is still used a lot for shopping, and she'll quite often still nap in it if we're out for a long while.

What would be the best thing to buy? I've looked at Baby Zens both new and second hand and other brands. I was wondering whether it would be worth investing in something like the Baby Zen as it's portable so I could carry it if she does want to walk. We have an Uppababy Cruz which I've adored, but wondering if using a stroller type buggy would see us out until she stops using the buggy altogether when we're back...?

The yoyo is awesome for travel as you can take it on the plane as hand luggage. It’s also easy to fold if you need to go up/down stairs and takes up very little room to store. Still using mine with almost 4 year old at times.

I had a bugaboo bee when mine was 2 and it was fab! Huge big seat, one handed push, big hood, folded down and easily.. can pick them up second hand on marketplace for next to nothing!!

I got a joie umbrella fold on Facebook marketplace for £10. That way I figured if it got damaged on the plane I wouldn’t mind (took it to the gate). Still using it 3 years later! Folds up a lot smaller than my big pram so useful for weekends visiting family.

Would highly recommend the joolz aer. It's so so lovely to push, easy one handed fold, one handed steering. Nice big seat. All round lovely.

We were debating between the joolz and the yoyo but the yoyo isn't one handed fold and seemed a faff and I just loved the joolz and don't have any regrets.

How much does she weigh? We had a Joie Pact which was fantastic - so easy to use and lightweight, and, whilst officially slightly over BA size for hand baggage, we were never stopped from taking in on board. Also able to fit loads in the basket and so much cheaper than a yo-yo. But the max limit is 15kg. I'm gutted we had to sell it!

Hiya thank you for all the advice so far! Has been really useful. Feel reassured that it won't be a waste of money buying a new stroller as should get a good bit of use out of it yet!

We went for the Ickle Bubba Globe. Reasons:

It fits EasyJet and Vueling's carry on item size (likely lots of other airlines too) so we could take it in the cabin.

It lies flat and has a footrest! This is what swung it for us over the YoYo as our son won't nap sitting up.

It's under £200.

...

It's a really fab buggy. It's been all over Spain and Italy and been carried up stairs into museums and trains and buses. Dealt with cobbles no problem.

The basket is a bit small but we still managed to fit a chunky travel booster seat and nappy changing pod into it.
