Thinking of ainimg to train to be an Educational Psychologist - anyone know what the holidays are like?

bot sure, but this looks useful here

you need to convert your degree before you start the doctorate, if you don't have relevant one.

thanks, yes am already looking into converting my degree.
the whole thing looks like pretty heavy stuff though!!!

Hi I'm currently converting my degree to psychology & hoping to do the Ed Psych training eventually. I don't think the hols are the school hols if that's what you're thinking-I think it's only the teachers who are on holiday for some 25% of the year! But the pay is good & there are opportunities to do job share & there is a shortage of Ed Psychs I hear. BUT competition for places on the MSc/doctorates is fierce (although you are salaried on the training). I'm really enjoying the conversion-it's great to know my brain still (kind of!) works after having a baby!
