Hi all
My little ones nappies are always really full when she wakes up. She really need a plus nappy but I can only find them from size 4 up. My little one is only small and is a size 2

does anyone know any brands that do plus nappies in small sizes.

thanks a lot

We had this exact problem with DS at the same age/size. We used to use all sorts of nappies in the day but would only ever use pampers at night, usually one on top of the other! Or a pampers with a reusable waterproof cover over. He was a real heavy wetter

Try a different brand I found lidl nappies were the least likely to leak but different brands do vary so try a few.

Honestly, cloth is the best. You can change the level of absorbency to suit your child by adding (or subtracting) boosters.

We had this problem (in our case not a particularly small baby, just apparently a very small bottom!), and I'd agree that cloth was by far the most reliable. You can adjust the size and the amount of absorbency fairly independently.

A sort of halfway house is to just add a reusable nappy booster (hemp, cotton, or bamboo, not microfibre) inside the disposable. When we had to go disposables-only for a week with DD2 (medical reasons), I also tried double-nappying (including with two different sizes) and cutting the absorbent part of a smaller disposable nappy out to use like a disposable booster, but we still had leaks every night. Might work for you, though!

Amazing. Thank you all! Maybe we will try the reusable nappy boosters! I’ve tried pampers and she was still wet through! Maybe give Lidl a shout as well. Thank you so much

Try a size 3 pampers for overnight, fold the nappy inwards at the front before you fasten it and it will fit

So up to a size 3 my ds used mamia and they were fantastic, no leaks whatsoever. Then since reaching 17lb and also rolls over the mamia size 4 have been terrible, we’ve tried Morrisons and tescos. Tescos have been the best, still occasionally have a few leaks but that is when he goes a long time at night or we haven’t put the nappy on right. I thought reusables would help, so I invested in lots of TotsBots (both new and second hand) and pop in. We had a leak every single time the first week. It turns out because ds wees a lot I have to put two boosters in. Also I have to change him every 1-3hrs max. Therefore I refuse to try them at night when he can sleep 7-10hrs. I bought the night time TotsBots but haven’t had the courage to try them yet, mostly because I like sleeping, I like ds being dry and if ds is changed during the night he fully wakes up for hours.

So right now I use reusables in the daytime changing him every 1-2.5hrs or if he’s leaked. Then tesco nappy during the night. He only leaks in the Tesco nappy on odd occasions. If we are out for a whole day I use disposable too, but if it’s only for an hour for a walk etc I will leave/put the reusable one on.
