Flu vaccine for 3 year old?

I have just received an invitation for my 3 year old to have the annual flu vaccine. I'm hesitant and I don't really know why.
Perhaps it's all talk there has been about vaccines over the last couple of years. Whilst I appreciate that was not about the flu vaccine, I think it has just made me dubious without realising it.

Are you for or against the flu vaccine?

Please no lectures, I'm just looking for some reassurance (or confirmation). Thanks.

My two year old is having it on Friday. I'd rather he didn't catch flu.

A simple google search backs me up about the GPs getting paid for giving flu and covid jabs.

My child had it, a simple spray. Imagine if they were really ill with flu, and the vaccine could’ve prevented it? If GPs are incentivised to give it, then fine. It’s probably good business sense from the NHS who risk being overwhelmed in hospitals this winter. Prevention is better than cure (and presumably less costly too!)
