Baby shoes

Hi, my 15 month old has been walking for a while and could really do with some shoes. The problem is he’s tiny! We’ve had his feet measured and his feet are measuring at just smaller than a size 1 baby but all baby shoes we can find start at a size 2. We’ve tried pram shoes and he just pulls them right off. He’s desperate to get out and walk when we go outside to the park etc. Does anyone have any idea of shoes that start really small? Thanks :-)

Start-rite? https://www.johnlewis.com/start-rite-kids-explore-trainers-white/p6183872 or have you looked at any sports brands? Looks like Nike start their baby trainers from size 0.5. Good luck!

Bobux have wonderful flat, roomy, flexible shoes for cruisers and walkers, and they come in small sizes. We love them.

Do you have any independent children’s shoe stores near you? They would be able to advise. The Children’s Shoe Company (also has a shop in Buckinghamshire) or Happy Little Soles can also advise over phone/email.

Agree with trying an independent children's shoe shop if you can or Happy Little Soles. My small-footed early walker had bobux as her first 'real' shoes. If I'm honest, they were a bit big at first, but a jodhpur boot style that stayed on anyway.

Try Inchblue. My little girl got her first pair around 14 months and she was in 6-9 months shoes and pram shoes just weren’t suitable with her walking. She took to wearing Inchblue instantly and now at almost 2.5, she still loves them
