Xmas pressies for grandparents

Money super tight this year and trying to keep costs down

Have a 17 month old and 12 yr old so just buying for them and small amount of other children in the family

But id still like to get a pressie for the grandparents either side from the children

Any ideas?

I feel I've done the personalised key rings, mugs, foot hand prints

I've just bought a beautiful picture frame so that's my mums pressie with a nice pic of the girls

But can anyone share any ideas for me?

Thank you!

X

A mini hamper that you put together with
Nice coffee or tea
Nice biscuits (or Scones with cream and jam or a nice cake)
Nice chocs
Perfume (M&S do some nice dupes for £10 - in the M&S collection range)
could you line the basket with a nice scarf?
Nice handcream

If you buy or two each month between now and Xmas, is that doable?

You might be able to pick up a small basket from places like The Range or Dunelm.

Or just one like the scarf or perfume.

Or a jute bag with something they like on it?

Sorry for all the nice references. I'm sure they'll like anything you get.

If these are too expensive, if you advise a budget we might be able to suggest something more appropriate.

@Cornflowers35 thank you! Done hampers over the years also, lovely suggestions
I'm sure I've done everything that doesn't cost the earth! Haven't thought on a set budget but just interested to know what everyone else does? X

We made these one year
Fingerprint tree ornaments

Last year I bought a pack of 6 white bowls and porcelain paints and they decorated a personalised snack bowl for everybody.

Or as little gifts we do things like Christmas beers or complementary nail varnish colours, hot chocolate sets for an auntie who doesn't drink anything else hot!

Fingerprint Christmas Tree Ornament - Air Drying Clay - Mum In The Madhouse

What is not to like about this fingerprint Christmas tree ornament made from air drying clay? They are beautiful kids craft and festive keepsake.

For the preteen, maybe some origami tree decorations? There are lots of videos on youtube and can be as easy or as complicated as you like!

For the baby, help them make some shortbread or something! Baked goods always go down well and they get consumed so it's not like an item to never get used.

If there are any beer drinkers you can get a beer bottle opener with a personalised message on for a reasonable price and just put with a few of their favourite beers.
A personalised grandparents book, some of these can be expensive though so depends on your budget.
A Joma bracelet - a little grandma/nana/whatever they are referred to.
A little hanging sign for the garden if anyone is a keen gardener, eg ‘grandad’s garden’, or similarly a cushion for their favourite armchair.
Get baby to decorate a plant pot and pick a nice plant for it.

Bonus Print are doing Photobooks for £4.19 at the moment - I haven't used them so can't comment on quality but they are a well known brand so should hopefully be good.

Isn’t this what books are for? Grin

One joint book present for each set of Grandparents.

Thank you all I have done each and everyone over the years ( my eldest is 12 ) just wondering if I had forgot anything

Once you've done one or a few I feel it's samey but a photo box is a good idea as haven't done one for a while and this way I can do
Both children - thank you x
