Motherease wraps - is there much difference between medium and large?

DD (6 months, 15/16lbs) is wearing size 1 bimbles and small rikki wraps. Now the nappies seem OK for now, but the wraps are getting small.

I'm wondering about skipping the medium size and going straight to large. Will they be huge?

in reply to both of your questions:

I don't know about Rikki wraps, as I prefer the Airflows, but I think there is quite a difference in the sizes. Mine (nearly 2.5yo and 1yo) are both too big for the medium (and have been for a while now), they can fit into the large OK, but I actually prefer XL as it's roomy & comfy looking and covers the entire nappy very nicely without any cloth nearing the edges of the nappy. and with 3 adjusting poppers for the legs, you can put them on the smallest setting for now and fits perfectly for my two.

Re: fleece wraps (or even fleece pockets, like Minki - my favourite!) I've found that since my little boy (my youngest) only sleeps on his tummy, his ordinary cotton/jersey PJs can often be rather damp/wet in the morning. (Of course, since boys tend to be wettest in the front, and he sleeps on his tummy, the damp all gets pressed on, resulting in wet pjs and wet bedding.) However, fleece PJs (like the all in ones) are perfect, no wet clothes, no wet bed. Just not sure what I'll do come summer when it's too warm for fleece Pjs! My 2yo little girl also wears fleece pocket nappies at night, but she sleeps on her back/side etc (ie moves about a bit) and she's less damp that her brother. She's only been in fleece pjs recently, so not sure how it will work with ordinary ones, but I think it's very possible she'll be fine since she's not a tummy sleeper.

Hope this helps!

OK, I am not up for even slightly damp pjs! We cosleep for most of the night just now

DD1 never did grow into her large wraps - although I did use them at night wtih extra padding to make it a bit more roomy. DD2 has only just gone into large ones in the day, a she is a heavy wetter so needs a HUGE cloth bum! she could get away with medium, but she's 21 months and so will have a while to go yet in nappies. I could have managed fine with MEdium only for DD1 though. Airflows are more generous in size ime - so maybe get some M/L airflows - I got some more recently for DD2 and I think they are now called M/L and are more adjustable than the old style airflow M.

You might want to pick up a couple of large for nighttime only.

Just got a med airflow from ebay. It's massive compared to the small! Can't imagine what large must be like.
