Hi, my 3.5yo has come back from nursery with this blister. Only on one of her legs.

shes fine in herself, eating and drinking, no temp and don’t seem to be itching. Would phone GP tomorrow but can anyone help please?

Looks like a bite, keep an eye on the size of the red area around it

Thank you. I googled and it says it could be a spider bite. Should I be taking her to doctors?

Ouch. I would take her to a pharmacy if you have one open still, ask their advice and get some liquid Piriton.

I think spider bites leave nasty red spots rather than blisters. That looks like it might be from a plant. Cleavers can cause a reaction like that, along with other plants. Piriton is a good idea. Encourage her not to touch it. The ones my DS had greatly reduced in size over a couple of days.

Thanks for your message @BreatheAndFocus nursery did mention they were in the garden so this seems more plausible. The recovery timeline is quite reassuring to here. Thanks again!

Agree with the above. A bite of some sort. This is exactly what happens to me after a mosquito bite

An update - Couldn’t get GP appointment. The blister was burst when she woke up in the morning, so we put a plaster on and hope it dries out soon.
