Did anyone manage to come up with something to cover their playpen when babies not in it?

I have just got a playpen and would like to keep my cats from getting in at night, playpen is in my kitchen diner, cant close this room off to the cats.

Anyone got any creative ideas? 💡

Mine couldn't jump into it. Can you position it away from ledges and stuff?

You can get cat nets for cots, that would probably fit over a playpen. Have to say I quickly gave up trying to prevent cats from getting into babies things when not in use, they never listened and it didn't make them go in when baby was there.

Can you just pop the toys away into a toybox and fold down the baby's playpen every night when it's not in use? That's what we did to keep our toddler out of it when he was at home, although I appreciate a toddler is not a cat! It meant we started afresh each morning with different toys, which the baby really liked.

If it's got a base/bottom to it then just turn it upside down

Turn it upside down.

Fitted sheet over the top worked with our cat. She was always in the pushchair though

Its not the kind that can be packed away or turned upside down.

The fitted sheet is a good idea thank you

Thanks all
