What are you getting your children for Christmas? And how old are they?

How old are your children and what are you thinking of getting them for Christmas?

A play kitchen with accessories for my toddler. That’s a big gift so won’t need anything else!

DS15 would like a new phone. DS13 - not sure! He may prefer money again as he did last birthday (he built his own computer last year and might want to upgrade elements of it).

DS(7) - possibly a lego set, he seems happy enough with off brand, so it's not actually that expensive for something quite big.

Drawing/craft stuff, maybe polymer clay

Jurassic world figures

DD(4) - plastic icecream thing

Fake oodie style jumper, with cat hood/ears

Hair tat

Watercolour Paint tin

Maybe some kind of kids CD player or equivalent

Mine our young adults...still get stockings but these are more expensive as filled with their favorite make up and shampoo and dd2 likes Calvin Klein underwear so new pants are $$$

Dd1aged 24 is getting a pair of skis
Dd2 aged 19 is getting an interrail pass for her travelling next spring.

Dsd1 aged 23 is getting clothes and a new coat
Dsd2...I don't know, she is unwell with anorexia and in hospital, so difficult to buy for...but she gets very cold so I'm thinking cashmere lounging PJs type thing.

Sorry to hear your daughter is struggling. I do hope her situation improves soon! That’s really tough!

@SunDaughter thank you, we have been on this merry go round for 5 yrs now, I love her the same as my own daughters and have been her main carer/support for most of the time. Its nice when people do say nice things - they often don't .
