i think the bes t are terry sqaures cos u can make them fit ur baby exactly how u want and they dry quick and if u need to u can put them on a 90 wash but the tots bots bamboozles are a nice all round nappy tho take quite a while to dry but stay very soft and are very nice and i like kushies for when u r out as they are pretty much the same as a disposible but i think i am the only one who likes them and u can't beat a motherease rikki wrap they are fab

Im a sucker for fluffles and a wool wrap for nights, and i use mainly pocket nappies during the day. However if all goes to plan when the new baby arrives i will use terry squares and nippas to begin with until it can fit in dd3's size 2's.

I personally like pocket nappies. I stuff them with microfibre cleaning cloths and prefolds. I also used Bambino Mio when they were smaller.

I like Motherease / One-Life Birth to Potty nappys, they are slim fitting and quick to dry,and a second vote for the Motherease rikki wrap!

have looked at the onelife hamper it looks lovely - but what a price. lots of Bambino mio's on ebay also junior joy, so thought i i might try and buy a set to help keep the cost down.

It all seems a bit complicated now- When i had my DD and DS i had them both in Terry's-all you needed was 2 dozen squares, nappy pins , liners, rubbers and away you go. Now there is so many different methods/types - it so confusing!!!

Have registered with the nappy lady now - for more advice but thoughtit would be good to know what preferences people had.

I'm with babyjj. Good old terry squares and a motherease wrap take some beating!

happynappies · 05/03/2008 20:23

I bought 36 terry squares from Nappy Lady, with nappy nippas, liners, and three/four Motherease Rikki wraps, and was also advised by nappylady to try Bumbles for night-time. 15 months on am still going strong with my nappy kit. Nappy lady gives excellent advice!

You'll never get a definitive answer

Everyone needs something different from a nappy, so what suits some don't suit others.

You're best off either seeing an advisor or speaking to one online - if you look in the small business section on here, there are a few of us that offer personal advice, or you can email me on bumfluffnappies at gmail dot com
