Going to Greece - do I use cooled boiled tap water?

For bottles and also HV said to give sips of cooled boiled tap water between feeds as she has a bit of diarrhoea after her jabs.

I am sure I’m overthinking but am I ok to give cooled boiled tap water even in Greece and not use Evian or a (not the cheap) bottled water?

Hello
we have just got back from a week in Greece with a 4.5 month old - we didn’t use any tap water. We bought bottled water from the supermarket, they do sell Evian but it’s very expensive - they have a Greek brand which was fine in terms of the sodium levels. We used this for all bottles and sterilising and had 0 issues

I would absolutely use boiled, cooled bottled water, not tap water from Greece. I wouldn't worry what brand the water was

I would never risk tap water abroad with a baby. Boil bottled water, even as an adult a lot of places like Spain people use bottled water

How old is the child? If the jabs are the first ones so she's 16 weeks max then yes, I'd boil and cool the tap water. If it's the 13 month ones I'd just use straight tap water

I go to Greece every year. It depends on where you are going. Mainland Greece use tap water. No need to boil, the water is actually much softer and nicer than the UK. Most of the bigger islands have fantastic water from springs that are usually bottled and sold elsewhere, like Crete or Corfu. Some of the smaller islands have no running water in which case bottled is the way to go. Where you are going in Greece is the key factor.

Use boiled bottled water not tap water. Bottled water out there is pretty cheap and the sodium levels are really low in nearly all of them. I remember checking when we took my daughter as a baby. If you can I would take the ready made cartons for milk though as it’s so much easier.

Safer to use bottled water because in Greece they have high minerals in water which is not harmful but if you're not used to it can cause stomach upset.

I used bottled water. All the ones I checked had low sodium. Didn’t boil it or anything. Used tap water and Milton tabs for sterilising.

The have baby versions of bottled water with less sodium / minerals. I wouldn't use the tap water
