Any one with advice on, or experience of Bed Wetting Alarms

Our 6yo daughter is still wetting bed every night after trying for 6 months without pull-ups, we have been to school nurse and there is no enuresis/bedwetting clinic in our area, so we are cracking on with solutions on school nurse / GP / Paediatric clinic advice. We have followed all the ERIC advice (and have picked up lots of tips from browsing the threads here - thanks all!)

So we are now in the market for trying a bedwetting alarm and can choose what we want - so any advice on good options?

Have looked at ERIC website products - so many to choose from, bit overwhelming...
Have noticed someone advised Bedwetting solutions | Bedwetting THERAPEE (bedwettingtherapy.com) system on a thread here.
I was also looking at this UK company Rental Bedwetting Alarm Deep Sleeper Kit - Pioneer Medical Europe to rent a system but I can't find any independent reviews, so I'm hesitating...

We think she is a deep sleeper, and she is a bit of a fidgeter, but she loves wearing pj bottoms. So was thinking "special pants" with sensor and remote alarm... (no wires - like the Pioneer deep sleep set - they have purple pants which she will love)
She floods the bed when she goes so I'm going to need to keep the PeapodMats Waterproof Bed Pads | Bed Wetting Mats | JOIZI mats on the bed for manageability (and because they love them, they are cosy and when we try without it's a palaver), so I think a sensor mat probably would not be the best choice from a practical / compliance perspective.

We are used to doing lots of prep for this kind of thing to get the kids enthused & on board with changes, so if you know of any books that normalize this kind of issue (found 3 for her eye patch that were brilliant - she improved her sight within two months and was really brilliant at complying with her superhero patches), let me know!

At the moment I'm planning to write her a "Princess and the Pee" style story featuring her favorite things, and she's already co-writing the story - we have to fit mermaids and a unicorn so far, and of course her 5yo sister (who is dry at night for last 6 months btw) - so all the fun!

Hi OP

I’ve written about Therapee on here a couple of times (as it was so good for my son) and I’d definitely recommend it.

You say about normalising this and therapee does this, in addition to the alarm you get a programme that includes videos where dr sagie talks about how common this issue is and how it’s because the child sleeps deeply and how the programme will work for them. They are designed for the child and my son thought that dr sagie was talking directly to him and it really helped his confidence. You see letters of thanks from the other children he’s helped too.

Good luck with the option you decide!
