I’m kind of past it now (18m) but now I’m emotionally detached of any envy, genuinely would like to know what’s it like to have an easy baby?

whats wake up/ mornings like?
what are baby groups like?
what are naps like?
what’s bedtime like?

Oh gosh, my friend's second child is an incredibly easy baby. We were out at the beach when he was 5MO and he was happily held by everyone, was laid down in a tent for a nap and when he woke up, happily lay there looking around at his brother, the lights and shadows etc. Apparently he is always like that. Totally laid back and barely cries.

His older brother is a tornado though!

All 3 of my kids never cried as babies. They just made cute little grunting noises if they were hungry or had dirty nappies. They were extremely sleepy babies and I had to set alarms during the night to wake them up to feed them. They were very smiley, pleasant babies too.

As toddlers none of them had the terrible twos. They had the odd tantrum but it wasn't very often and didn't last long.

When my eldest was 3 he was a bit of a rogue in preschool, whacking other kids and chasing them with sticks etc but it eased off.

All 3 of my kids are very easy to manage, well behaved and generally pretty respectful.

My youngest was a terrible sleeper but this is mostly all sorted out now.

I don't find parenting hard other than the relentlessness of it. I really enjoy it and sometimes feel a bit guilty I've had it so easy.

I never tell people in real life how easy my kids are. I wonder will it all be stored up for me in the teenage years!

Can I just add that I had 3 absolutely brutal, agonising deliveries and/recoveries from childbirth!
