Hi - as per photos! It's just on the neck and seems a bit blotchy, with sort of raised pimples?

Looks like it could be a dribble rash if generally well otherwise, does your little one spit up a lot? If so it can collect in the wee crevices of their neck and get red and sore. Try some coconut oil, usually works a treat! If not improving then the chemist should be able to help :)

if they start getting really fussy and you notice mucus in their stools then a trip
to GP as cows milk allergy can present with a rash but usually has other symptoms present too

yup dribble or milk rash if it's in the neck creases only. Just try to keep the area clean, dry and aires as much as possible. But always worth getting a real life professional opinion if you are worried from a health visitor, gp, pharmacy or children's centre.

I’d say it’s the start of eczema.

Is it itchy? If not I agree it could be dribble or milk . If it’s bothering them I’d let someone look at it and if not have you tried one of those absorbent bandana bibs with a towelling back? They come in lovely designs and will keep the area dry.

Thanks all. He's 4.5 months so skin folds and dribbling could definitely be the cause! I've got bandanas and will try those!

I forgot pic of ones we had. The ones from Funky Giraffe are very soft and they wash and wear very well. They have lots of designs or just plain colours so they look like stylish accessories rather than bibs if that’s a plus.

I used to use nappy rash cream on my dc's dribble rashes when they got sore.

If you’re breastfeeding soak a cotton ball in your milk and wipe it over with that. Used to clear up DD’s really quickly. Let it air dry though (have to hold their rolls up until it’s dry!)

Or Sudocrem was always good.
