Yesterday my son started telling me that people were fat, he saw someone and told me, she's a bit fat mummy. I answered but telling him don't you ever say that again. Since then he has been saying it alot, to people who are even slightly a bit heavier. He used to say shes/he's strong, which was mainly around a larger sized person. I'm not fat at all and him and his dad have always jokingly said here comes big fat mumma. Especially when I was pregnant with my second child. But he's always known not to call people fat. I had an eating disorder at a young age and its not acceptable for anyone I know to comment on someone's weight. Believe me, I have expressed its unkind, iv told him not to do it, iv taken things from him, he's been taken away from the carnival he so wanted to go to because he said it too much. Me and his dad have had calm words, and after him doing it again today. I'd had enough, I shouted at him, sent him to his room, explained why but even when it's all cooled down hel then say a character on TV is a bit fat ! I can't seem to get through to him. I even explained how it impacted me when I was young. It doesn't seem to go in. Well it does and it doesn't. Hel tell me someone is a bit fat etc then start crying and saying sorry immediately. When I was a very young age I used to repeated say the same sentence to my mum and I have OCD, iv had it for years. It doesn't effect my day to day life other then double triple checking the stove is off but he doesn't see this as I do it at night time. Iv always kept my ocd behaviour away from him. But he also started repeating his sentences under his breath after saying them and I asked him why he done that. I told him nothing bad will happen to him if she doesn't do that and he seems to have stopped but now this repeating fat comment has started. Is it OCD, his he looking for attention. Please someone help me as I'm not living a happy life style constantly telling him off.

OCD is hereditary and it sounds very much like OCD.
