Travelling with a newborn to Florida from uk

Been TTC second child for a while without success.
we have a big family holiday booked and paid for next august going to Orlando (Disney etc)

we are wondering if we can have one more try before we have to stop trying before Florida. If successful this next month baby would be 13 weeks (or 11 if went 2 weeks overdue). My last pregnancy was straightforward but I went 10 days overdue.

my concerns are the heat and humidity. But as I have never been there before I’m not sure how it is. Is it safe for a baby? Also shots?

as far as it being hard work etc I’m not worried as I’m with 14 family members and my mum. I’m happy to sit out of things and sit in AC areas with baby so my daughter can experience the fun. But just want new baby to be safe.

advice not criticism please. Sensitive subject for me at moment as I really don’t want to stop trying but, I refuse to steal this dream holiday away from my daughter and lose all our money.
TIA

I wouldn't to be honest. I just imagine the additional stress, being away from your new routine and home comforts.

How was you post partum after your daughter; can you imagine having taken her on a long haul holiday at less than 3 months? With another child in tow.

If you want your daughter to have the dream holiday, let her, you in the corner holding a newborn is likely to impact that and make it less so, she will want to make memories with you.

I'd hang fire and aim to be no more than 4/5 months pregnant to enjoy it best you can.

I would, as long as you check travel insurance.

Babies are born in hot/humid places, including Florida, and they're fine.

14 adults helping, a/c, relaxing, no cooking/cleaning etc? Sounds fabulous!

By the time dd was 10 weeks we'd already flown short haul twice, her routine was pretty good, and travelling wasn't an issue (except when the train was delayed and we had to jump off two stops early, shove the pram and cases in a taxi, then leg it through the airport - but that was the trains not the baby).

I'd do it. And buy baby Mickey ears if you do happen to have a new baby with you.

I would go with a newborn. I found travelling so easy when they were small! Especially, if you will have help from family members.

It really depends on which would you prefer: going with a newborn or going while pregnant.

I won't stop trying because of the holiday. I would keep trying while the baby would be at the newborn stage and stop it for a while to make sure wouldn't be too far into the pregnancy to travel.
