How to store sterilised bottles?

Once sterilised how do you store your bottles? I have a Mam microwave steamer but I'm not sure if it's OK to leave bottles in there once I've opened it ie opening it for one bottle, closing it and then opening it a few hours later for the next feed.

I don't know the advice sorry OP but I've always left them in the steriliser until I needed them and then just took them out one by one. If more than 24 hrs had passed and I hadn't used them all I would chuck the remaining in with the others to wash and put it back on.
Sometimes it may have tipped slightly over 24 hrs but that was my general rule of thumb

I used to assemble the empty bottles and use them within 24 hours

Left in the steriliser until needed

Just use whenever they are clean. You don’t need to worry about time in between imo. You clean bottles to remove baby milk etc that can stress bacteria, not to need it in a super sterile environment.
A bottle sterilised Monday, put in cupboard and used Wednesday isn’t hot to be any dirtier than a bottle sterilised Monday, thrown in baby bag with 101 other things out and about and used that day.

Just a sure way to loose you mind.

Thanks everyone! I currently leave the bottles in the microwave steriliser and open it whenever I need a new bottle. I have a newborn so I feed her regularly. I just wanted to know if this was the correct way. I also sometimes cold water sterilise and just take out a bottle when I need it.
