Advice of first wobbly tooth for SEN kid

First loose tooth and it's quite loose, kiddo can bend it 90 degrees, not sure how close it is to coming out.

Kiddo has delayed verbal skills. He's not distressed, watched Peppa so I think he knows what to expect. He won't let me look at it too much.

Is it likely to come out while asleep? Bit worried about him choking on it. Should I let him stay up until it's out? He starts school next week (Scotland) so I wanted to get him on an earlier schedule. 😅

He's quite fixated on wiggling it now anyway and not liking that it won't come off - asked me to pull it out! I'm not sure if I should give him his tablet so he can wiggle it with a distraction - it's after 10:30pm!

Follow up question - it's a shark tooth - new tooth is behind it. Will the new tooth move into the old tooth's position? Or will it stay misaligned? A bit gutted if it's the latter as his baby teeth have been so lovely.

Hope you didn't stay up waiting! My DD could bend her last wobbly tooth 90 degrees for about 3 days! I'd just encourage normal eating, with some nice bites things like crusty bread and apples. Pulling hasn't seemed to help us m, even on seriously wobbly ones, but risks just making them hurt and her be a bit more anxious about it. We are new to this but have gone through 3 teeth lost in 2 months, the new ones seem to move in line as they progress through the gum.

Thanks for replying! No, we didn't stay up thankfully. 😅 It came out the following evening. That's reassuring that they can move into the correct place.
