Friday today which means I get to spend the whole day with my wonderful DS. Problem is I'm feeling utterly horrific. We usually go out, have lunch in a cafe then soft play - home for a nap then back outside.

I really don't think I can manage leaving the house 😕 haven't felt this unwell in a long time.

Ideas for low maintenance day today with DS please lovlies? He does play independently but in a bit of a im bored with all these toys mood today
I feel so bad because he loves being put and about but I need at least this morning to feel sorry for myself before pushing and trying to get on with it.

Currently just finish throwing up while he took 300 nappy bags out of the box....

Oh, that's rough, looking after a toddler when you're ill. If he'll watch a bit of television, I'd say today is the day for it.

Are you well enough to supervise a long just-for-fun bath with lots of toys? (Add some kitchen bits and bobs or rubber/plastic animals that don't usually go in the bath for extra fun.) Or simple messy play in the (dry) bath, something like a box of cornflakes/rice krispies and diggers/animals and scoops, spoons, and such? Bubbles are also good, if you have any in, also a balloon to kick/bat about etc. (get some for next time, if you don't have any now).

For exercise, can you set up a little obstacle course for him, cushion to crawl over, chair to crawl under, type thing? Both mine also liked chasing a ball I threw (a hallway is good for this, the longer the better).

Hope you feel better soon.
