Any ideas on how to make a pram cosy like a car seat?

My 5 month old will only sleep in her car seat and with the hood down, I assume it’s because it’s snug and dark. I have tried her in her normal pram but I think it’s too open and she needs the snugness. I know I’m not allowed to put any padding etc round it but any safe ideas? Don’t want her sleeping in her car seat for every nap forever! Thanks

If you go on Amazon and search for pushchair liner there are padded inserts you can get. I don't think they are a safety concern, as far as I know

Snoozshade for darkness. They are brilliant.

"Car seats are designed to keep babies safe while travelling, not as a main sleeping place. Car seats should only be used for transport and not as an alternative for cots or high chairs. It’s OK for your baby to fall asleep in a car seat when travelling, but they should be taken out as soon as you get to your destination, and placed onto a firm, flat surface to sleep."

It's OK for your baby to fall asleep in a car seat when travelling but research does show a link between car seats and SIDS

Yes I’m aware, unfortunately it’s the only way she will ever nap, I have exhausted all other options and with a toddler in the house I just need her to sleep however she can. It’s a lie flat car seat so it’s better than the usual but still not ideal hence why I’m looking to replicate it in pram form.
