Has anyone got a Foldimat, i think they are a new product. I'm keen to hear if anyone has one and if they're worth getting?

Also looking at Totter and Tumble mats, does anyone have one and could feedback?

Thanks :-)

Totter and tumble are great. Don't vacuum with the "beater bar" as you'll scratch it. Don't by a cream coloured one (for reasons that should have been obvious to me 🙄).

Buy

@Yetanotherusername2 oh no so is it best to just shake off dirt rather than vacuum it?

I have a Totter & Tumble playmat - easily one of the best things I've invested in for the kids. Looks good, wipes clean and saves them from falls when they're still a bit wobbly sitting up!

Another vote for Totter and Tumble. My husband balked when I first suggested it but in the end he loves it too. We have it in our living room (wooden floor) and spend ages playing with the baby who also plays on his own there. I also use it once in a while for light exercise.

@SleeplessinUK34 can they be folder over if used in smaller spaces?

I love my totter and tumble and am getting one for my mums new house!

nonyou can’t fold them neatly, they’re too thick and bendy, it wouldn’t lie flat at the folded bit. But you could put some of it under furniture?

Gigi89x · 25/07/2023 23:54

Are they heavy? I was planning on using them in different rooms, can you easily carry it or is it best left in one room?

You can technically move it from room to room but it’s not light and in my opinion, best left in one spot. I see it like a rug really, albeit an easy to clean one. We got a compact size one (rather than standard) because of our living room size, but if you have the space, go for the standard size because sooner rather than later the baby will be crawling everywhere!

Totter and tumble are great for a rug replacement for baby to play on and to avoid bumps to the head. They also make great yoga mats. But they’re not really for lugging from room to room unless you get the smallest round one. They’re quite heavy and it would just be annoying.

I looked at Foldimats but in the end have just bought a totter and tumble. My thinking being that I'd probably end up too lazy to fold it up regularly so might as well go for t&t and use it as a rug replacement! Only had it a couple of weeks but love it so far, soft for the cruising baby and good for yoga too...
