I need to keep busy or I think we will all lose our marbles!

Thank you for these crafts! Going to try some with my kids!

Ah yay! Also bought them each an A3 sketch book which they are very into already and first task is to cover the front cover with paper and decorate it 😄

Look up geocaching, kids love it.

I'm working my way through the white wines of the world in longitudinal order. 😆

I might steal this but with cocktails 😂. We will do something slightly more child-friendly that we did in lockdown: choose a country once a week and make dinner and pudding from there. It’s a great way to expand the diet and get them helping a bit as they are more interested than if you just say “can you peel the carrots”!

Love the idea of the life-sized portrait made up of a collage of pokemon various interests.

Take a big picnic wherever you are going (this always means DS is happy to stay out for hours.😆)

Geocaching and Pokémon Go are great to make walking not feel like walking (if they normally hate it).

Library challenge plus 5 mins homework each day, literally only one TT Rockstars or Spelling Shed game.

We are going to rearrange DSs room (same furniture). He can choose the new layout and we will declutter any toys or clothes he’s grown out of then anything we sell can go towards his choice of paint colour, new posters, fabric for cushions, decorating furniture etc.

Holiday clubs but lots of different ones so he doesn’t get bored.

Lots of tag-team babysitting with other parents. Even if they are indoors playing in crap weather, doing that in someone else’s house with their toys and another parent making lunch is more exciting than being at home. Saves on annual leave too.

We will do a couple of big days out, probably one of the free museums in London and a castle. Maybe a couple of trips to the local (indie, cheap) cinema too.

10 night holiday
Football camp
Playdates
Camping with the grandparents (thank goodness for them, I’m not made for camping)
Summer school
In between all of that DC will have days out and fun activities with grandparents
