Potty training, nursery

DD age 3 attends a school nursery 9-3, 4 days a week, wraparound care to extend to 8-5ish (with much higher ratios) 3 days a week. We've been potty training over the weekend and she's had 1 major accident (poo all down her leg 😱) and I would say 4-5 sprinklings followed by jumping on the potty for the majority of a number 1 once she's realised, over the course of 3 days, decreasing in frequency over the weekend.

She is able to empty her bladder when prompted and has started to self initiate today- taken herself off to use the potty 3 times this afternoon, including for a number 2. She is due in nursery tomorrow and we are planning to send her without nappies, lots of spare clothes just in case and ask nursery staff to prompt her - this is ok isn't it? It feels like 'normal' progress and a child that attends nursery is never going to be absolutely perfectly potty trained with no input from the staff are they? Obviously we don't want to shirk out parenting responsibilities but I think we've broken the back of it, but like most children she'll need more reminding and will have a few accidents the first couple of weeks ?

I'd say that's fine. Nursery isn't just childcare, they are there to help your child develop too x

She's only 3 days in and still having accidents when 1-1 with a grown up reminding her. Honestly I would be tempted to keep her off for a few more days at home until you've cracked it and had some filly accident free days with her initiating most of the trips before she is left to it in the chaos of a school nursery and especially wrap around care. She's always likely to have more accidents at nursery but I wouldn't want to completely dent her success by sending her back too soon.
