Newborn arching back and flinging head back after feed..but not crying.

Hello, paranoid new mum here. I have a 6 week old baby who generally always flings their head back and arches their back after a good feed (breastfed) - BUT doesn't cry and is generally content. Gaining weight as normal and no major issues with naps in crib (on back). But I'm concerned their might actually be in pain and I'm just missing the signs... Would they be crying if uncomfortable?!

Sounds like wind to me? Been a while since I had a newborn, though.

Reflux?

This sounds normal to me. Like a stretch?

Mine used to fling his head back at the end of a feed as he unlatched, almost like a last burst of energy before he went totally milk drunk. He’s 8 months now and my first so I’m no expert, but I think if they’re uncomfortable/in any sort of pain they will let you know about it x

Thanks everyone - yes it's like a big stretch backwards actually, but they do then look milk drunk bless. Maybe it's just a quirk then :)
