Is this colic?

Baby is absolutely content during the day, sticks to his normal feeding times etc. it gets to about 4/5pm and seems to constantly fuss and cry. He gives hunger cues, we try to feed him and he will spit out the bottle shortly after feeding for a min or two. Sometimes he goes bright red and screams, we have tried everything to see if he needs nappy change, burp etc but it doesn’t work. He will suck his dummy for 10 mins and be content then suddenly scream again.

Sounds like it could be colic. Have you tried infacol or gripe water? They're good at getting wind up.

Quite possibly. Sounds like our experience, although it was a long time ago. Nothing actually worked for us, but it stopped pretty suddenly.

How old is lo? Our experience sounds similar. Dd started around 2 weeks. From 6pm-1am screamed. Unable to comfort her. Tried all sorts, rocking, swaying, swaddling, dummy, booby, dark quiet room, white noise, infacol, gripe water, you name it we tried it! Nothing worked. One night it was 10 hours straight, felt like the most awful mother in the world. Week 10 it was gone. As quick as it started. Dd has reflux and still struggles with a griot tummy at times and is 8 months old now.

Yes it does. As others have said it did stop really suddenly after about 12 weeks
