My ds is 2.3 and we started potty training on Sat.
He's doing really well at home and at nursery.
Next Monday he has a hospital appointment and i'm wondering what to do as we're gonna be there a few hours

I don't want to put a nappy on him, but he won't use the toilet yet and will i get strange looks if i take his potty with me

Take the potty, ltos of spare pants and trousers. I don't t hink you'll get strange looks

You could get a travel potty which should go in the changing bag.

Have never used one myself, always went on small journeys at that stage, but you don't have a choice.

You can get portable potties that fold up fairly flat. They wee into a bag that basically has a sanitary towel init!! You can then dispose of it as you would a nappy. They're about £10 with spare bags.

Wouldn't put a nappy on as he's doing well and it might set him back.

Good luck

That's the fella. We have one in the car which has proved very useful.

Take the potty, or a travel potty (fantastic when they are at that kind of stage... I've just reached the point where I no longer carry ours everywhere with me) and plenty of spare clothes.

He's sort of taken it out of my hands because he's now insisting on using the toilet so i'll just take his seat with me and use the normal toilet
