1 year old vomits all the time, worried.

My 13 month old has always been a baby that threw up a lot. At around 4/5 months I took DS to the doctor as I was concerned but I was told as he wasn’t projectile vomiting to not be concerned.
I’d say at least once a week he vomits a very large amount, for example around 1/2 hours after bedtime. Or today around an hour after he ate his lunch. He is a very good eater, he has cows full fat milk twice a day in the morning and before bed.
Does anyone have any experience of this? I will be taking him to the doctor on Tuesday but it has continued for so long I’m starting to worry. Around a month ago they put it down to a sickness bug, but it can’t continue like this surely?

Would keeping a good diary (yes I know everyone says this) help identify any foods that trigger the puking?

Keep a food diary, note of volumes and textures too.

Ask GP for a referral.

Mine was like that. He was also really full of mucus all the time. Took him off dairy and he was I startle better within about a day. He’s not been sick once since.

Agree you need a detailed food diary to identify patterns.

With no info on what is going in, and an otherwise thriving baby, the GP has little to go on.

My LO was always throwing up. I became a real pro at stripping the car seat! She was a c section baby so full of mucus and an unbalanced gut. I found found dairy free and optibac probiotics helped a lot. She's also mildly hyper mobile so I think her stomach valve is a bit loose so instead of just feeling a bit queasy, she instantly voms.

Worth getting checked out though.

My first had an extremely sensitive gag reflex and vomited a lot. When he had a cold it was gruesome, lots of being sick. He grew out of it by 5 or so.

Hi @Sunshine1996 did you get anywhere with this? I'm in the same boat, GP not interested as he "seems happy".
