Bib recommendations for a very messy baby!

My 6 week old daughter is a very messy drinker and l need Sind recommendations for big / thick bibs. I even put 2 bibs on her today, one on top of the other but the milk still soaked through. Constantly changing her outfits as the top parts get so soggy

I'm a long way past this but can you still get plastic backed fabric bibs?

Any with a waterproof backing are good. We also used to tuck a muslin round DS, so if you’re feeding the baby with their head on your left arm you stuff the muslin between your body and their neck to catch the run off! Has she been checked for tongue tie? DS had one and couldn’t latch the bottle properly (or indeed the boob, which is why he ended up on bottles in the first place)

I really like the Zazzle bibs. My wee one is 14 months now and has been using them since he was a few months old; they've lasted very well and I find they can be very wet (thank you teething!) but his clothes remain dry.

Oh yes forgot to add - the triangular bibs tend to be thicker than newborn bibs so these are also good. Look for ones with two poppers so you can do them up a bit tighter. But honestly the muslin napkin was the best way!

No tongue tie -a few people have checked her for this. The messiness isn’t consistent either!

I tried the muslin method but it soaked through. Maybe l best to try one of the bigger ones next time

If she’s soaking a muslin I’d persevere with checking things out to be honest. Maybe try a different teat or brand of bottle? My first couldn’t manage the silicone tests until he was about 3 months but got on fine with a latex one as it’s softer

These bibs are amazing

For messy bottle feeders the Tommee Tippee Baby Milk Feeding Bibs are the best. They have a thick ring around the neck. DD was very dribbly when having a bottle, and these were the only ones that had the proper absorption.
