I found a sling a massive lifesaver so I could be handsfree for my eldest but keep baby cosy and happy.

Lower your standards on everything - cleaning, screen time, nutrition, hygiene.

I bloody love having two, good luck!

@Wicksytricksy I completely forgot about a sling, added to my basket and BUYING!

definitely where I went wrong with my first, he loved to contact nap

I second lowering the standards. Get watching some quality programming (Paddington / bluey) for when you’re feeding and toddler is bored!

Congratulations.
I actually went from 1 to 3, things that helped were lowering standards, putting dt down awake (harder at first but helped down the line), a sling, a basket of books we only got out when mummy was feeding so dc1 could fetch something sit next to me and we could read, teach dc to fo simple things for themselves, have a snack box in fridge every day that you can tell dc to get a snack/drink, some where safe to put baby while you sought dc1 out (it won't harm dc2 to cry for two minutes while you see to dc1), routine (keeping to dc1s routine as much as possible was really important and dt fitted into that).

Don't buy a double buggy/ buggy board until you're definitely sure you need or want one. 18 months between my two and we found that we preferred pram and buggy separately with us pushing one each, and be prepared for people to be shocked when they see you have two close together and ask 'how do you do it?!' Over and over again 😂
